Pottery studio in the city center

Moare was born from silence: from fingers in cold clay, from the Adriatic light on the windows of old Koper, and from a street that smells of stone and salt. In the studio on Župančičeva, a step away from the sea, we started slowly - the wheel, the kiln, the thread, the canvas - so that each piece gets time and becomes real, with the trace of the hand that held it.

We work with our hands: unique ceramics, jewelry, and textiles in small batches, each with its own irregularity that is a signature, not a flaw. Handmade work carries time that cannot be returned, and a story that only begins when you take a cup or earrings into your home - to hold them, wear them, gift them, and let them gather life.

Moare should remain a living space in the heart of Koper: the smell of clay, shelves with unique pieces, a wheel spinning as footsteps flow through the old core outside. Not a factory, but an encounter - workshops, quiet hours, coffee, and a piece that goes home, with the light of the Adriatic in its glaze and Koper in its palm.

Old Istrian towns have secrets; in Koper, one smells of damp earth and salty wind. From clay grow bowls like little boats, from thread sails, from metal drops of the sea.
